World Power Products was the first in Africa to invest in a 3kW Salvagnini Fiber Laser Cutting Machine which gives us the ability to cut non-ferrous material. With three other Trumpf CO2 laser cutting machines ranging from 3kW to 5kW, we are able to handle even the most demanding production runs.
Laser Cutting Services
We are able to Laser cut the following materials:
- Ferrous: mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron and wrought iron.
- Non- ferrous: aluminium, brass, copper, nickel, tin, lead and zinc.
The maximum thicknesses that we are able to cut includes:
- Mild steel: 20mm
- Galvanised steel: 5mm
- Stainless Steel: 12mm
- Aluminium: 10mm
- Copper: 8mm
- Brass: 6mm
- Maximum thickness to be supplied on request for other metals.
Our well-equipped factory and technically skilled personnel gives us the capacity to provide professional Laser Cutting services that can handle even the most demanding production runs. Our lead times range from 1-2 weeks for complete bulk orders and 48 hours for flat in flat out Laser cut orders.
